  8. This is a freely distributable video sequence player program
  9. which can play HHsYUVSq sequences direct from harddisk
  10.  
  11. - in HighColor in Cybergraphic windows on
  12.   a Workbench with at least 15Bit color depths
  13.  
  14. - in reduced color (upto 256 colors) on any WB screen,
  15.   including AGA, ECS, OCS and usually WB-Emu graphic board screens
  16.   as well (e.g. EGS-Emu, Cyber-Emu, ...)

  18. A short sample sequence should be included in this archive.
  19.  
  20. * CyberTVPlayer shows all sequences in the HHsYUVSq-Sequence format
  21.   direct from hard disk. The memory usage is very low this way
  22.   (although memory is needed to hold a frame in full size as loaded
  23.   and in converted form for CyberGfx). Random access harddisk
  24.   sequences and sequential sequences can be shown. For more speed you
  25.   could copy the sequence to RAM: first (if you have enough RAM).
  26.  
  27. * CyberTVPlayer uses its own very high quality (21Bit) color decoding
  28.   routines. It can also show sequences in greyscales.
  29.  
  30. * CyberTVPlayer accepts a file name as argument when started from CLI
  31.   or pops up a file requester when started from workbench or without
  32.   CLI parameter.

  34. * CyberTVPlayer runs in a window on the Default public screen, which
  35.   can be a CyberGfx screen with at least 15Bit color depths for HighColor
  36.   playback or any screenmode with upto 256 colors for reduced
  37.   colors (this will be much slower)

  39. * CyberTVPlayer shows the sequence in a loop, until the close button
  40.   of the window is pressed (if reduced colors are used, the first
  41.   playback pass can be much slower due to the color pen allocation;
  42.   subsequent loop passes are usual in higher speed; on HighColor
  43.   screens with 15Bit or more, the speed should be much higher)

  45. * You can start CyberTVPlayer several times concurrently to watch
  46.   several sequences at the same time.

  48. Sequences in a suitable format can e.g. be created with

  50.                      *** EGS-TV Professional ***

  52. the ultimate Animation, Video Editing, DeskTopVideo, Blue Screen Keying effect,
  53. Framegrabber and handy scanner software for the EGS graphic system
  54. with e.g. VLab, IV24, VideoCruncher framegrabbers or assembled from
  55. single pictures. Currently this program is only available for EGS users.
  56. EGS independent programs to create HHsYUVSq sequences could become
  57. available in the future (anyone interested?).

  59. For more information, take a look at EGS-TV. EGS-TV is shareware,
  60. the professional version (including harddisk recording) can be
  61. registered for only 33US$ outside europe (in europe: 40DM).

  63. The demosequence has been created with EGS-TV Professional and a VLab
  64. framegrabber using the Blue Screen Keying effect.

  66. All CyberGfx fans (and all other Amiga users as well) should also take a look
  67. at my universal viewer (incl. PhotoCD) program "CyberShow" with many useful
  68. functions and incredible fast speed... It is shareware (introduction price
  69. 18US$ worldwide or 20DM in europe upto 31st July 1995).

  74. For usage with Cybergraphics on HiColor/TrueColor screens:

  76. - cybergraphics.library V40 or higher
  77.   (Cybergraphics is a Workbench emulation/True color software extension
  78.    which is usable in conjunction with several graphic boards as the
  79.    Cybervision, Piccolo, SD64, Picasso, Retina-BLTZ3, Spectrum. It is
